Harbour naturally stands for the beautiful port of Hamburg and the 2nd refers to the label's headquarters, which is located on the "second floor" of one of the historic Speicherstadt buildings. A lot of time and the best craftsmanship go into creating bags, rucksacks and purses of the highest quality. Production takes place in India - a country that can look back on a long tradition of leather processing - and involves four steps. In the first step, the leather is inspected and only the best parts are approved for production. It is then cut and sewn. Next, the entire bag is washed and dyed in a special process, which ensures that the colour penetrates even into the cut edges. Finally, the bag is dried at a constant temperature.
