Imagine you're on holiday - and then the zip on your travel bag breaks. - Weight: The less weight the bag has, the more you can pack in it when travelling by plane - a simple rule, but this way you can minimise the total weight of your luggage. We all know that every gram counts with airlines. Of course, this also applies to suitcases.
- Comfort: Handles and shoulder straps should be padded, and you should also be able to adjust the shoulder straps. Travel bags with wheels are super practical if you are travelling a lot. There are models with two wheels and travel bags with four wheels; these then allow 360° rotation.
- Organisation: Most travel bags do not have a divided interior, but if this is important to you, you should pay attention to it. External pockets are just as important if you value organisation.
- Security: Many travel bags have built-in combination locks or zips that can be secured with a lock. Make sure you use TSA-certified locks if you are travelling internationally.
